Hermann's Trip to New York

Hermann was felt a lilttle left out when  the Scottish Widow bear went to Norway, so he managed to stow away with misery to New York, via the den in Mayfair.

Hermann was looking forward to his first flight as he had only ever been on a ship before:

There was no turning back at the half way point across the pond:

He was a bit intimidated by the den at Rockerfeller Plazer, tucked in just below the GE Tower and Radio City. He was hoping to pop in to see American Idol, but misery refused.

At least Misery did not have far to walk from the Hotel, past the GE big dog guarding the GE tower, across the plaza to the office at 1 Rockerfeller.  However, when Hermann got close to the dog, he realised it was a bit of a pansy and named him marigold.:

The GE tower made Hermann feel a little dizzy when he looked up, whereas Misery felt dizzy due to the quantity of beer the night before

Misery's office was not far away past marigold to the tower by the flags

The GE reflects across the Plaza:

Times Square was a bit like Picadilly Circus, just two blocks away

Hermann liked to sit in the office window keeping an eye on Marigold in the reflection opposite:

Hermann was a little puzzled why there was a steam heating system in the summer:

The new World Trade Centre is not quite finished:

Marigold seems to be asleeep all the time, as he never moves:

Hermann said this building looked like a shadow of itself, and suggested the prime flagship was built on poor foundations
