Shearwater City Lights Sail

Hermann manage to stow away for a chartered cruise and cocktail party on board the Shearwater, a schooner built the same time as the skyscrapers of Manhatten. The Shearwater is now recognised as a national landmark, like the Rockerfeller Centre. Hermann was so proud to be on a yacht as old as Winnie the Pooh, but was disappointed that Winnie was to old and frail to leave the library and join him.

The cruise departed from the North cove Marina, in front of the World Financial Centre. Hermann spotted the building on the left of One Word Trade Centre, the Freedom Tower,  was American Express, and wondered if he was going on an express speed boat.

The top of One World Trade Centre was high up in the clouds, but after all it is the tallest building in the western world at 104 floors high
